12:15 - 13:00 "Bone augmentation in implantology: hard and soft tissue management”
Presentation summary
In modern dentistry, implant osseointegration alone is not enough. Indeed, esthetic, function and durability are essential.
Before, during and after implant placement, a good management of bone and soft tissue is necessary for an optimal result.
Nowadays, autogenous grafts remain the gold standard for hard and soft tissue management, especially for reconstruction of larger bone defects.
Thus, the appropriate surgical technique, instrumentation and materials are primordial regarding the success of implant therapy.
